Care

• Some shedding is normal. Loose strands and tufts are normal with natural coir, especially at first. It's a sign of the dense tufting found in high-quality coir, doesn't affect how the mat performs or lasts, and settles quickly.
• Keep it clean. Shake or beat the mat outside, or vacuum it. A stiff brush lifts out dirt between the fibres.
• Keep it dry. Coir lasts longest under cover, such as a porch or doorway. If it gets wet, stand it on its edge to dry fully.
