About the brand

Rubbabu toys are eco-friendly from start to finish. They're handmade from natural rubber foam, made from the sap of rubber trees, so no trees are cut down and the rubber is a renewable, 100% biodegradable resource. Nothing is added to the foam - no fillers or chemicals - and the toys are made using a low-emissions process, then hand-flocked with soft nylon for a velvety feel. Fair trade and handmade.

Soft, squishy and tactile, Rubbabu toys are sensory toys that are safe from birth and suitable for all ages: babies exploring touch and learning to grasp, toddlers starting pretend play, and older kids playing catch. Teachers, therapists and parents use them for children with special needs and for sensory seekers, as the soft texture and bright colours help kids stay focused and engaged. Safety tested to international toy standards, Rubbabu has won more than 50 awards for play value, safety, eco-friendly materials and social responsibility. Exclusively distributed in New Zealand by HRB Jacobi, a family business since 1932.
